Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Polaris Moderation website at polaris-moderation.xyz (the “Service”), operated by Polaris Studios (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must comply with Discord’s and Roblox’s terms and policies when using their sign-in or linking features. Some features are limited to authorized Polaris Studios staff. Other features, such as viewing your own ticket transcripts or submitting a staff application, may be available to eligible users as described on the Service.

3. Permitted use

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes, including:

• Official moderation, quota, and staff account tasks (authorized staff only).
• Linking only Roblox accounts you own or control.
• Keeping your Discord and Roblox credentials secure.
• Viewing ticket transcripts for tickets you own only. You may not access transcripts for tickets opened by other users.
• Applying to become staff when staff applications are available on the Service.

4. Prohibited use

You may not:

• Access areas or data you are not authorized to use.
• Attempt to bypass authentication, security, or access controls.
• Link a Roblox account you do not own or misrepresent account ownership.
• Scrape, copy, or misuse Service content or user data.
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or harms Polaris Studios, its users, or its community.

5. Account linking

You may verify Roblox ownership through Roblox OAuth or by placing a one-time verification code in your Roblox profile description. When you use Roblox OAuth, you authorize us to receive your Roblox user ID and username through the openid and profile scopes for account linking only.

Misrepresenting account ownership or linking an account belonging to someone else may result in removal of access and other staff action.

6. Ticket transcripts

Ticket transcripts are provided so ticket owners can review their own support tickets. You may only view transcripts for tickets you opened. Sharing, copying, or distributing transcript content without permission is not allowed.

7. Staff applications

Submitting a staff application does not guarantee acceptance. We may accept, reject, or ignore applications at our discretion. Information you submit must be accurate and truthful.

8. Robux credit

Robux balances and withdrawals are subject to staff quota rules and admin approval. We may adjust, delay, or deny payouts for policy violations, incorrect data, or operational reasons. Robux credit has no cash value outside the Service’s stated staff reward process.

9. Third-party services

The Service uses Discord and Roblox for authentication and account linking. Your use of those platforms is also governed by their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

10. Availability and changes

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page with an updated date.

11. Termination

We may suspend or revoke access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms, leave the team, or for operational or security reasons. Staff access may be revoked when you are no longer authorized.

12. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind. Polaris Studios is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
